Hello and good cheer everyone!
Oh it has been so long since I've graced this journal but I have been thinking of all of you lovely folks often. Your creativity and compassion for others makes me a very happy troll indeed.
This morning I received a delightful e-mail of many quotes (by famous people) of happiness and kindness. Being that it is my "job" (though it's more a labor of love than work) to share joyful thoughts I would like to post these quotes here.

Seeing everyone's lovely comments of good cheer have made this happy troll very happy indeed.
But, again I am wibbling over a small thing. I am sad to see that some doubt my intentions. Not because my feelings are hurt, we trolls are a tough lot indeed, but because so many are jaded by this fandom that it has become difficult for some to believe I am for real. I thought I would address that and say that my intentions are no more than what I say they are. I really do want to spread some good cheer to the fandom. I want to make all of you out there smile , chuckle, and just generally feel good about yourselves as well as your fellow fandomers.
In fact I will go so far as to admit how I decided to come onto the fandom scene. One afternoon my fandom 'alter ego' was talking to another fandomer about all of the Unhappy Fandom Trolls and a comment was made that what was needed was a Happy Troll spreading happy thoughts instead of insults. After a few giggles and ideas were shared I, the Happy Troll, was born.
In my last post I mentioned how sometimes we can be mean and nasty to one another so it's not surprising that some would not believe my good intentions are for real. But I also said that even though there is some negativity that we really are a positive, powerful group of people!!
Look at all the unbelievable talent we have in our fandom! We have some amazing, incredible, diverse amount of talent.
Once again I am feeling a good sense of the ::wibbles:: because there are so many brilliant writers and artists out there that I would love to leap lavish phrase upon but I am afraid there are so many of you that I might accidentally leave someone out and hurt someone's feelings.
So I thought I'd, once again, turn the forum over to all of you lovely people. Tell me who you admire for their writing, artwork and just all around sheer talent. If you've never told a writer, artist, theorist (or even just a fellow fandomer) that you think what they do is amazing I invite you to do it here! Leave someone a happy thought, a good review or just a bright and cheery "Hallo!" right here on my comments page!

Oh, YAY! I can feel the love from all of you! :) I was so happy to read the comments you made about the people you love. Doesn't it feel *good* to tell the people you love how you feel about them? I know it makes me feel happy. So, don't be shy! Share the love!
But (::wibble::) I'm feeling a bit concerned about something, too. About my own plans. You see, originally, I'd planned to say nice things about people I love. But there are so many of you! What if I forget someone? I don't want anyone to feel left out or forgotten.
So, instead of starting with individuals, today I'm going to say some of the things I love about all of us together!
♥ I love our taste in books. ::grin:: The Harry Potter books are my favourites! (Even though Ms. Rowling gives my kind a bit of a bad name. Well-deserved in most cases, though. I am unusually lovely for a Troll).
♥ I love that we are a diverse, international community. We have so much to share with one another!
♥ I love how we can rally around and support one another in times of need. I've seen as many heart-felt ::hugs:: in this fandom than I've ever seen anywhere!
No, we're not perfect. And sometimes we fight and sometimes we even get nasty with one another. But when it comes right down to it, we really are all good people. Yes, we are.

Hello there fandom!
As I say in my user info I am not your run-of-the-mill fandom troll. No. I am the Happy Troll. I love you, you, you and you, and I love to tell you how much I love you.
Oh - and I love you, too.
Share the love!
I wish to spread actual happiness and joy throughout the land that is the Harry Potter fandom. You are all so creative, talented, intelligent and delightful individuals that I felt the need to spread cheer throughout the fandom.
In the next few days I will be adding several of you to my friends page and posting kind messages of love, peace, joy, serenity, and laughter. If for any reason at all you find yourself added and wish to be removed please simply leave a comment and I will do so for it is not my desire to make anyone unhappy. After all that would defeat the purpose of a happy troll.
Also, I would invite you ALL to post kind thoughts of love and cheer here on my comments page. If you wish to send a positive message about why someone else in this fandom makes you very happy that would also make me, the Happy Troll, very happy indeed.
